Thank you so much for that!  Now I have two as a reference, I can work out how to find the others more easily.

 :) Merry Christmas!

Sorry to be a nuisance but I thought I had this sussed after the great help from jonw25, but I am still confused.
I have a William Newgate died 1567 in Holkham Norfolk UK.  Looking up the reference, I have:
NCC Admin Act Book 1563 - 1570  fo241.  I assume this to be folio 241.  I then went to Familysearch Wills & Administrations:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C3MJ-K9Z3-9?i=277&cat=504379
and found 241 in roman numerals ccxli   (hope that is right)  at the top of the page but no trace of a William Newgate.

What am I doing wrong?? :(

Hi
That is a Norwich Consistory Court administration.
So no will.
The Act Books are here
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/417267?availability=Family%20History%20Library

Your William's entry is on film 1595562, second item I think.
(marked folio 241 on previous side)
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-DTQS-VSZ?i=612&cat=417267

Don't think we are going to find the actual bond itself, going back that far. Hope I'm wrong!

Thank you jonw.  No wonder I couldn't find a will. I've been doing genealogy through Ancestry for decades now but never delved much into Familysearch wills and still trying to get my head round DNA, chromosomes, centimorgans & suchlike.

Heigh Ho,  Still learning at 80!
